Bill is a fantastic public speaker and we can't wait to hear his Open House flash talks! While he loves boating, he may convince you he knows how to sail - don't believe him! Never one to be idle, he spent this summer building a Peapod in Restoration Hall which was 'ooohed' and 'aaahed' over by hundreds of IYRS visitors in Newport this summer look how beautiful it is!

Ben came to IYRS with some great hair and an excitement to hone his woodworking skills. He is a friendly face always willing to fill you in on what he is working on in the shop. He has a passion for building and no challenge is too daunting.

And he's an invaluable member of the community — he has chaired the Great Strides Walk-a-thon in Nashua for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for 24 years. He loves the close knit community of like-minded folks he's found at IYRS. Ariana Murphy — Ariana has a teaching background and really enjoyed building a beautiful environment for her students. She looks forward to a return to teaching with the skills she learns here. Puzzo — A. In the summer, Caleigh works as a park ranger — she also loves to take photos, and has already started taking lots of great photos around campus!

He spent 27 years learning art, de, and general academia and came to IYRS to learn the hands-on skills to pair with his knowledge.

Here he is saying hi to the Admissions Office mascot! He came to IYRS ready to make a change in his life - he is eager to expand his knowledge and skills to start on a new career path. And we can't wait to help him! A former dairy farmer and a military Veteran, Don and his service dog Gunner are excited to the IYRS community and we are excited to have them both here. He's an avid surfer and he's excited to learn to work with the materials surfboards are made from. He's already planning a custom surfboard for his capstone project and later plans to take several other IYRS programs.

Keep an eye out for John shredding on Narragansett Bay when he's not in the shop!

Rhode island

Morgan Thomas Hanshaw — First things first Morgan was born and raised in France and was the youngest person in France to fly a plane solo! He is a Composites Technology student who has a love of nature, people, photographs, and trying out strange foods. He can be seen always smiling, sketching, and typing away on a real typewriter - don't worry he knows RHINO won't work on that!

She's at IYRS to expand her skillset and by doing so expand her career prospects after graduation. He's excited to use everything he learned in Composites in his current program and take his deing and building skills to the next level. He's a favorite around campus - we recommend asking him if he has a pen! Square wants to develop hands-on skills to facilitate his career in de and innovation so that he can quickly turn ideas into products.

In Nigeria, Square is a farmer, food processor, technology entrepreneur, project manager, and an oil and gas consultant. He is an innovator and inventor and we could not be more excited that he is here at IYRS! She is a yoga, meditation, and fitness instructor who loves the water and living in tiny spaces. Maggie drives an awesome converted van that she deed and built herself! Jason Eldridge — Jason center is returning for his second year as a Student Ambassador and we couldn't be happier about it.

He plans to open his own boat shop after graduation and make a living and a life of woodworking and boating. Jason is a United States Veteran and he and his wife are soon to be parents of a little girl!

Russell Megowan — Russ is a Marine Systems student from California where he was in the music business. Russ owned a silent disco company where he was a DJ, producer, and - excitingly - a fire performer. Russ came to IYRS because he wants to become a yachtie, maintaining luxury yachts.
